I don't necessarily repeat requests every year because I always have new stuff I want to try, but I will definitely bring back old ones if I have a slot to fill, unless I've soured on the fandom (and please write me nyrs for them, they're still in play whether listed this year or not!!)

The only time I'd "give up" on a request is after someone has managed to do a fic that's technically a fill but misses the poimt entirely and I was actively disappointed. No sense tempting fate for that to happen again. (Especially from the same writer.)

(Mind you I also generally retire prompts after a good fill too. Just for the opposite reason.)
