But surely, this means they will match on this one all the time? Just like if you do a non-rarity-requirements exchange and you ask for 1970s British Comedy, Victorian Children's Book and MCU, you're going to get matched on MCU 99-100% of the time.

(Anonymous) 2023-09-22 02:05 am (UTC)(link)Yuletide matches hardest-to-match people first. As long as you haven't added several huge-for-yuletide options, you'll have so few potential matches that if even one person shows up for your rarest thing, you might easily match on that.
There's a difference between adding one fandom you're pretty sure someone will offer and adding MCU.
(Of course, if you'd be disappointed in your bigger fandom, don't request it. It's easier to cover people with no offers than people whose offers don't match requests.)
