I agree with you generally but that train has left the station. People don’t acknowledge the existence of misogynistic slurs and the environments that tried to get people to stop using them have just…forgotten they ever cared as far as I can tell.

But replying with racist slurs is inexcusable.

I think policing how a group of primarily female people can use "bitch" is entirely pointless in fighting misogyny, to be honest.

Do you not see that in the group of primarily female people, there are other women who you're harming? That maybe it's fun, innocuous or reclaimed to you, but is still vile visceral misogyny to other women?

Just take a look at this thread. We have the thread OP objecting to the usage and a barrage of comments in response using the word against the thread OP. Even if you think it's fine to use in the jokey way of coalcube's meme, how on earth can you think that's acceptable?
