Based on the AO3 app, he's never requested his own fandom, at least. The fact that he participates in exchanges and requests other fandoms doesn't seem weird to me, but I can see how his writing treats about his own book canon could be awkward for the recips.

I don't know any of his writing (pro or otherwise), but I've seen him around in comments on AO3/DW since before I knew he was a pro author, and he seems cool.

Which...is actually knowledge that just moved Ninefox Gambit up in my to read pile. (I've been deep in nonfiction land for years and only picked up fiction again this year.)
