Oh man, I forgot that! That is right. And yes, the slave bear fic was not coal, but definitely one of the things that I heard about Yuletide prior to doing it the first time. Yuletide? Isn't that the exchange where someone wrote bdsm care bear fic?

Slave Bear was definitely one of the first YT fics to get a lot of play outside YT. (Also on that list: the NPR zombies fic and Anthony Bourdain goes to Narnia.)

Anthony Bourdain goes to Narnia is one of my favorite ever yuletide stories. It's probably one of my favorite fanfics as well. What a great story.
