for some reason, I thought this was in reply to the dub-con convo in recent comments and I was about to be like..."i'm pretty sure dub-con is opt-in"...

I guess it depends on the ship too. But unless it bothers heavily on noncon or is OOC for the ship/thematically very out of place in the fandom, I wouldn't consider it opt-in.

Dubcon is by definition a hard-to-define concept so it can't really be opt-in, but it's probably something I'd try to do only to up to canon level and/or as implied by prompts.
