How wanky would it be if I say that I'd like incest for all my requested fandoms in my letter? Although I wouldn't mind platonic gen instead, because ODAO.

The Engelsfors trilogy is a YA trilogy translated into English (and other languages) from Swedish, following a group of girls who find out they are, somehow, all the Chosen One, who must defeat the demons of order. Two of the girls fall in love through the first two books, and the third book deals with their relationship. They have magic powers that can be used for fun or for sexy reasons (and are).

The books can get fairly heavy (the first book is about suicide) but I really enjoyed it.

Like the Clouds, Like the Wind is a TV movie about a country girl in ancient China who's trying to become the concubine of the Emperor (because she hears it's an easy life with lots to eat). Once there, she has to deal with court intrigues, secret plots, and more.

It's a fun movie with lots of interesting female characters, and I quite enjoyed it. (and no, it's not a real Ghibli movie, it just shares a character designer)

If you're actually okay with both incest and platonic gen and give prompts for both, not wanky at all. Saying you only want incest - potentially a little rude but ODAO so you'll get a gift in the end anyway. Being enthusiastic about what you want and promoting it in the relevant subchallenges works better than being restrictive.

If you want fic focussed on nominated characters with a worldbuilding slant, I'd request Any and put that in the optional details. Worldbuilding without OCs can be quite restrictive - "anything set at Hogwarts during the period between Grindlewald and Voldemore that engages with changes in Muggle society" is something you'd likely write using OCs (who may or may not be a Ravenclaw), for example a muggleborn student with a background that allows you to engage with the changes in Muggle society and how it affects the wizarding world.

+1 I'm very interested in worldbuilding, but not interested in OCs at all. I'd rather get fic that was just narrative description of the world itself with no focus on any characters than fic where the main focus is on an OC.

I do think worldbuilding should be with canon characters as default, but I don't think OC's are opt-in. They're the other main option to actually have characters in your fic if you're not using canon characters and you don't want to write the "records of grain harvests for the past 5 years and how the wars affected gross output" kinds of worldbuilding. If there's a time period that's only ever referenced in canon that none of the canon characters experienced, or a character that's named, but literally nothing else is known about them, OCs are a good way to write worldbuilding in those situations.

I don't think requesters of worldbuilding should be allowed to direct their writer and ask for "Fic set during this canon time period with my OC, Ebony Dark'ness Dementia Raven Way, who's Ravenclaw's descendant and she has a 12in ebony wand with a Thestral heartstring core and this is her outfit," but ODAO is still a thing and they can't even for non world-building requests.
