COALTIDE Episode IV: A New Hope

It is a period of indecision.
Gaming gone right for some,
coalies successfully snagging
the assignment they wanted,
the first major hurdle against
Yuletide odds is a victory.

However for those not as lucky
to have gotten the recipient they
wanted, coalies can't help but
think about the hidden requests,
missed bullet and gem alike,
they now have to wait months
to get access to.

Haunted by these assignments that
could have been, or perhaps
mourning the gaming attempt that
went awry, coalies tell themselves
that they will get started on their
assignment right away so that they can
treat to their hearts content and
restore happiness to the Yuletide galaxy....

shamebucket - These are great, I love the diversity of prompt flavors and these are just good prompts. They give a few elements of canon they like in the general spiel that could be integrated in several of the prompts, but there's still a lot of freedom for a writer.

deliveryservice - Their prompt for a non-linear fic sounds like a LOT of fun, the prompts aren't too long and there's a good range of specific + broad. I feel like I have a clear idea of how to write them something they'd like.

EvilMuffins - Very short prompt section but the prompts themselves are interesting, concept-wise. Their general likes mesh well with this set of prompts also.

Cerberusia - This one's about tied with the one below it. It's doable as an assignment and they are clear on what they want (post-canon shipfic), it's just not the thing I was most interested in for this fandom.

Yevie - I don't find these prompts aren't super exciting, and they feel a little restrictive. Their intro paragraph asking for introspective character studies/interactions is more useful to me and is probably what they'd be getting if they were my assignee.

Smile_Edgeworth - Some of these prompts are interesting but the way they're presented makes me feel like I'd be trying to thread a needle with any fic. There are a lot of caveats in both the prompts and the DNWs; this would probably be fine as an assignment but I wouldn't treat.
