coaltide | COALTIDE Episode IV: A New Hope

It is a period of indecision.
Gaming gone right for some,
coalies successfully snagging
the assignment they wanted,
the first major hurdle against
Yuletide odds is a victory.

However for those not as lucky
to have gotten the recipient they
wanted, coalies can't help but
think about the hidden requests,
missed bullet and gem alike,
they now have to wait months
to get access to.

Haunted by these assignments that
could have been, or perhaps
mourning the gaming attempt that
went awry, coalies tell themselves
that they will get started on their
assignment right away so that they can
treat to their hearts content and
restore happiness to the Yuletide galaxy....

Disclaimer: I'm always dancing around this fandom but never offering, because I don't really ship Booth/Ratcliffe or Booth/Blaine and those tend to be the only requests, and if I'm totally honest, what I really want to read/write in this fandom is Claudia, who never gets requested on her own.

20thcenturyvole: Short and sweet, with some intriguing hooks for stories mixed in. I also appreciate the flexibility on the ship being included.

Burning_Nightingale: Appreciate the permission to be flexible on character use and/or go Booth/OMC. I'm ranking this only slightly below the above only because it doesn't have as many story hooks.

snickfic: It's fine? I don't know TMA for the requested crossover ship, but there's plenty of ideas that only require the actual requested canon, so I can't ding the letter for that. The prompts go more feelings-y than I would go in this canon - I love the creepy mystery elements with stiff upper lip much more - but it'd be a solid request for someone looking to write one of the ships they're requesting.

Iseult_Variante: Canon-rehash-from-another-POV is a meh prompt in my book, but there's a couple other prompts. I like their description of why they like the canon, and it matches well with what I like about it. Leading off the DNW list with "For any of my DNWs to make you feel bad. :(" is a choice I'm not on board with... but eh, OK.

ceci_n_est_pas_un_corbeau: Placeholder letter. Likes in the Optional Details look fine but I'd want some ship preferences and prompts for this canon to treat.
