Even their response displays cluelessness: "And for The Good place, the characters I chose are Eleanor, Chidi, Tahani, Jason, Michael, and Janet."

Toby is not the only character in the October Daye tagset... I can't even begin to contemplate how this confusion happened. I just hope they get it worked out and this is a lesson learned for next year.

Haha, I actually went back to the rules to make sure that I remembered the possible number of requested characters correctly. Whew. Yeah. 6 is definitely too many.

(In general, I like it better when people wait to post their letters until after they submit their sign-up because at least when they sign up they are reminded of the limitations in regard to fandoms, characters, etc.)

I am amazed that morbane actually took the time to walk them through the all the fandoms. If I was her, I would have just said: "Hey, I can't tell which characters you are officially requesting, and I can't put you in the app unless you clarify, sorry."

Huh - Kass is definitely not a newbie. Check their Yuletide tag. They've been doing Yuletide since at least 2007 and are a very prolific fic writer.
