If I see another “I found it really tho too” comment about the racist fic I’ll scream. They’re exactly the same as heeroluva in my book. It’s FINE to get off on that stuff but you feeling the need to share that shit when your peers just told you how hurtful it is so tasteless. But when your right to let your boner fly free is all you care about then yolo.

FFA's reactionary bullshit around kinks and iddiness, in addition to the incredibly broad brush used to define anti-hood, has pretty much killed off any desire I have to participate there.

Yeah, this has left an incredibly bad taste in my mind about FFA.

People weren't pissed at her writing badfic. They were pissed at her picking up pinch hits often for canons she didn't know and writing short bland fics, so other people couldn't write those pinch hits. They were also pissed at how she requested everyone in a fandom so it was impossible to game away from her if you didn't want those fics. And they were also pissed that she copied and pasted basically the same thank-you comments over and over. The way she engaged with exchanges was really selfish.

Calling that selfish is incredibly cult of nice because it's obvious now she would have adjusted if anyone had actually said to her "hey, could you be a bit more selective please?". But no one is willing to look like the jerk, so instead of conversations people have grudges.

Also ffs there is nothing wrong with saying thank you the same way each time. If you personally like longer comments and game towards recipients who write them, that's cool. But hating people for saying thank you wrong is messed up.

I've been thinking about this. So many nonnies were going like "wooooow I wish I knew who wrote" this or "the person who wrote this should feel ashamed!" but for the majority of them it's like someone giving unrequested scat, e.g. not a huge deal and that doesn't impact them at all. They were fine to let it pass just as much as someone writing 1st POV for someone that DNWed it.

The minute some people, who likely did have some stake in wanting to avoid this person because someone that sees race kink as just normal race relations - enough to tag it interracial, ffs - is actually scary or finds it beyond the line distasteful to them, and actually did what they needed to do, it was anti/bad/just as wrong as writing racist fic so they were Team Nobody.

Just because you don't have any personal stakes in this, Sharon, doesn't mean that people actually willing to put in the work are as bad as someone who actually had an honest to God racist moment.

To use their go-to comparison of non-con, if it came out that some anon author in fandom was a convicted rapist I bet they would want to know. More power to the person if they did their time in jail and never raped anyone again. They're entitled to work through their part in it through fiction, blah blah whatever. But I'm sure most nonnies would want to be able to not to engage with the convicted rapists noncon, especially if there was any reason for people to suspect the actions in the fic reflected their own actionos. Some people probably would get off on that, but I bet they'd be far more shamefaced about commenting that even on anon than the people +1ing the hotness of the racist fic. Something tells me the sunnies would screen/freeze those replies more readily than they are those racist +1s too.

I totally get disliking her and wanting her out of your fandoms. But talking behind her back so she can never change and so you stay miserable is so stupid. Tell her to her face or move on. If you can't do either, accept that you're making yourself miserable and enjoy it.

If there's at lease some sigh of relief to have someone like this gone, then people should understand why people want nothing to do with heeroluva beyond ~enjoying wank~. At least LK wasn't so nose blind that she showed up to apologize for fucking over people and being a blight in her fandoms. Heeroluva not only is open about going to FFA but is actually on the damn discords where they discussed the wank. He knows the it happened and it's just crickets.

LK was a bad writer who didn't realize people didn't like her. Heeroluva sees black men and Asian women as dildos and fleshjacks. Meme only felt bad about the constant wank over LK once she flounced, but they've been defending heeroluva's ~right to privacy~ from the jump.

Someone engaging in a way that works for them is not fucking selfish, god. And I think you mean offered everyone in a fandom, because if she was requesting it, that shouldn't impact anyone but her assigned author. Nothing that she did was egregious, and there was no point to the hateboner that FFA has for her.
