Hear, hear.

At least Yuletide has a rule about using DNWs to box writers into a corner, but I wonder if participants will remember that.

It makes me wonder: with the people saying they went to the Yuletide mods with a DNW and the mods were unsympathetic, was it them or the mods? (Probably some of each...)

Somehow nothing in that thread convinced me that it wasn’t exactly Space Race Grudgewank 0.5

And I didn’t know yuletide had this rule! Good for them/us. I’d rather have somebody anonfailing while defending their 1001-word space nazi ageplay tentacle orgy -> and finding out it’s one of the Watson sisters. Or something. Anything but the DNW semantics.
