Jeremy Renner and Chris Evans did an Avengers interview in 2015 where they joked about the BW being a slut and a whore.

And yes, I know there's a difference between making a sexist joke and potentially being a domestic abuser, but IIRC, Chris Evans was very contrite and made what seemed like a reasonably sincere apology, whereas Jeremy Renner's statement was more of a non-apology that didn't seem to indicate that he got why maybe their jokes weren't particularly funny. So, there's been a bit of a bitter taste since then and the recent allegations seem to fit the profile.
