I defaulted because I felt I couldn’t write something my exchange recipient wanted. The recipient is a lovely recipient, and there was nothing wrong with their letter or their request. I was drawing up blanks for ideas on my end.

NC. I had the same experience last year, Coalie.

I felt really guilty for defaulting, as I've been doing YT every year since 2006, and the only other time I'd had to default was when I had to have my appendix out.

But I didn't want to give my recipient unintended coal, either.
