A lot of the story seems to involve one character being teased by the others. Maybe that was the kind of humiliation the author DNW'd, rather than, say, sexual humiliation?

Possibly? In that case they really should be clearer though. If I was that writer I would want to know what the issue was tbh because it seems like a totally good faith fic.

Another theory: the recipient is the person who went to the mods to ask if they had permission to reject a gift for bad SPAG.
