It's an extremely petty disappointment, but I saw a lot of interest in one of my prompts, and indications at least one person was working on a treat for it, and then...nothing. Logic brain is completely chill and understanding of this, but emotion brain is disappointed.

My prompts were mentioned here more than twice with the same "gonna write" kind of vibe from at least couple people. No treats, though. I think people get excited initially and then reality and time constraints (and maybe inspiration for other ideas) kick in. I've been sure I was going to write something and didn't too.

My gift was fucking fab, though, and my recips have all been happy with a couple just ecstatic, so it's not like I needed a treat to make my Yuletide. Hope your gift was great, too.

Same here, but I have a gorgeous main gift + one of my recips rocks as a commenter. I will just re-ask for the recced-on-coal prompts next year and hope for better luck next time!

Same hat. My gift was absolutely fantastic, so I'm not dwelling on it, but I had zero hopes of that prompt being filled until I saw it mentioned here and it's a little disappointing. (Hey, maybe one of those people will treat me in another exchange? I'm still requesting the thing! Come back!)

Same!
