cyrt The response has been positive! But the main reason I'm super-glad I got it finished and posted it is what the recip's other gift ended up being.

I pushed to finish two stories that missed the main collection and posted them into Madness, even though I don't like to do that unless it's <1k. It's like a comment desert there, to me, so I was just hoping the recips enjoyed them. I had comments waiting from both recips when I woke up, both completely amazing *and* lengthy (in Madness!) and I'm so so glad I didn't shelve the stories.

I'mma bask in that praise for some time.
