Thanking your (fairly recognizable/well-known) betas by name in the fic summary certainly is a choice. Not one I can respect, but a choice. :/

This is exactly why I don't name my betas in exchange fic. Too obvious.

Yeah, the author I pretty much exclusively beta for adds my name to the thanks after reveals. I think the phrasing changes up enough too, at least.

I never get this complaint. There are dozen of things anyone who knows me well enough could identify me from in any anon story I post. The thank you note for my beta is the least of them. So someone might figure out it's me, who cares? It's not a big deal.
