Had this happen to me two years ago and I am STILL hella salty about it. And the comments on the other fics were gushy multiple paragraphs with pull quotes. So, you clearly hated my fic (for reasons I can't fathom - it was perfectly fine and tailored to the scant requests and was not full of SPAG issues.) Fine, maybe you thought it was socks, but a simple acknowledgement was all you needed to do.

And my blood pressure is up by 20 points. I need to let this go.
