I don't think the notes of a gift fic for someone else is the place to wax lyrical about how much you love your beta, and it annoys me when I see it in the wild.

Imo making the notes of a gift fic almost entirely about someone else rather than your recip is a little rude.

The whole fic is for them, though. Acknowledging your beta is a good thing to do. Why are you like this?
