My neighbours keep letting off fireworks when it's barely gloomy let alone dark, sometimes even in light rain, and I'm so baffled by this choice. I mean, sure! Thanks for setting them off when it might be easier to find a scared pet and when there's less fire risk... maybe? But also why?
