i don’t know what you don’t get. to SIGN UP you basically have to treat or ph the year before. if you don’t want to sign up, you don’t. people who only ph or treat will not be impacted by this rule. only those who are signing up for their first yuletide would be impacted because they have to ph or treat that first year in order to be eligible to sign up their next year.

and what if you skip a year? do you have to write a fic in order to sign up again? does that mean that yuletide starts earlier to give people time to write pre-yt fic? i'm into it, ngl.

i bet skipping a year would be fine but if you default you restart from 0 fic.

i dont think yuletide would start earlier. you probably have to get a nyr written before signups close in order to participate in that years round.

I skipped 04 and didn't have to pre-write 05. Thought at this point you'd probably have to set *some* time limit.
