I use the 'ao3 tweak formatting' script which is at https://greasyfork.org/en/users/36620 and can do lots of stuff - remove line breaks, insert line breaks, change *word* to word and other things. So useful!

Yeah, when people are using either of those two words it generally is apologism and not apologia.
