I wrote for you previously a small fandom only we share. You really liked it and it had a lot of details you said you adore.

I’m thinking about writing for you again in the same fandom. I know once you shake it you will know it’s me and that’s fine. This will not be a sequel to that fic.

Do you want me to include the headcanony details that you adored which will make it even more obvious I wrote it *or* would you prefer I start from scratch and add in other details I have floating around, even though they may contract some of the unspoken headcanon details we agreed on last fic which I know delight you?

Honestly, either would be awesome! I wouldn't want you to feel any obligation to try to disguise yourself, I'd just be thrilled to realize I'd gotten a gift from you again, so if you want to use those delightful mutually established details, that would be awesome ... but tbh I would also absolutely love to read something based off other headcanons you've got that I don't already know about. Like, clearly your taste in headcanons for this fandom is fantastic, and there's every chance I'll adore your new take just as much as I adored your last.
