Most people I know are doing FIAB and FFFX and are thinking about Heart Attack. I think for them Triple Crown is more attractive than Yuletide.

It's the second year for FIAB and Heart Attack, too. I wonder if triple crown is going to mean fewer people do YT if it goes on for a while.

I'm doing FIAB and yes, I'm still in the throes of finishing up these fics I have extensions on and maybe taking a pinch hit.

However, I was thinking about HA and decided on Yuletide instead. "Triple Crown is more attractive than Yuletide" is too broad a generalization to be at all useful or provable. It depends too much on individual participants' tastes and preferences.

I don't think cyrt meant it's more attractive across the board. Just that the YT pool is thinned by the absence of people for whom triple crown is more appealing, and that pool might also be disproportionately pinch hitter heavy

OC Yes, that is what I meant.

A lot of people also like big writing projects for the year and Triple Crown lets you do that while writing different fics, plus there's prizes and stuff. It seems like more of a community now that Yuletide is so big.
