I've started kicking around plot ideas and I have a title, but no actual words, yet.

I did! Now I just have to flesh out some of the scenes and do some historical research but the main body of the fic is there. I knew as soon as the requests were revealed I was going to get hopelessly distracted by treats so decided to work on my assignment as much as possible before then.

I'm still deciding how many ILL books it's reasonable to request for research.

I have two lines of dialog, a plot bunny, and about 100 hours of canon review before I can tell if it will work.

Admittedly, it needs work and an ending, but if I dropped down dead tomorrow (not planning to, to be clear, but...) my recipient would have an okay Yuletide.
