It's not bad, but it is annoying. I'm willing to invest time in a promo'd fandom because I think there's going to be at least one guaranteed request.

I don't think you should sign up if you're not excited for Yuletide tho.

It's minorly bad, but signing up for something you don't want is worse, so they should go with their gut and only request things they're excited to receive.
