(Saying upfront that I came up with "Three Turtle Doves" so that I don't get accused of plagiarizing myself...)

I kind of want a "...And a Partridge in a Pear Tree*" mini-challenge that focuses/hinges on Madness. You sign up by listing all the fandoms you know/like that are in the tagset but didn't have the slots (or couldn't think of enough prompts) to request this year. People who really love those fandoms and have a fic of their hearts inside them/ideas of their own can then treat you in Madness with them. Those who have one or two prompt ideas or who only have specific ship/characters they want can say, otherwise the assumed default is that you're asking for "any" since this is guaranteed to be a treat and is mainly to help out authors who desperately wished someone had requested that thing they nommed.

Yup, don't write them a comic noncon orgy in a fandom they have not requested and may not have ever consumed, and you'll be fine!

(AKA don't give "treats to the collection" to the mod account if it's the mod's personal account rather than, say, nonconamod.)

I think that first sentence is utter bollocks. Fanfic is usually born out of the desire to get something else out of the fandom that canon didn't give you, and not more of the same, so trying to write in the voice of the canon is often counterproductive. Good fanfic brings out the character voices while changing the narrative voice and style. A "good enough writer" isn't limited by imitating the original creator's voice and can make the fic be in character without that.

So a "no pastiche" DNW is similar to "don't write in first person for a first person canon"

I actually agree with that, except that's a bog standard and completely reasonable DNW.

I mind showing up in 3T1L because I immediately become self conscious people will think it's me who posted it.

I didn't! I spent a while thinking about posting a 3T1L, but chickened out!

And then I got posted anyway so I get all the weird irrational embarrassment without even having overcome it and chosen it myself!

I usually solve this my responding and making it clear that I'm skipping my own. But I also don't mind generally if people think I posted it.

Ranking games frustrate me because people are judging my letter on completely subjective basis that are fairly irrelevant to me (and stuff that's impossible to change usually) but the criticism still smarts. In 3T1L, someone might say "this DNW is unclear, and that link is broken", which is helpful. Ranking games are like "I'd love this person because we share an id, but this other person's letter sucks because they ship my NOTP and their taste in kinks is terrible", and I don't see the point in that at all. I don't need randos to detail why they would or wouldn't want to treat me.
