Coalway to Hell

Yuletide Weather Forecast:

Temperatures are estimated to fluctuate between active panic and total apathy into the next weekend. Main assignments will have a minimum temperature of regret and a complete climate change once editing is complete. Expect treat writing to continue at all free hours unless the dangerous front of procrastination cropping up in the Northeast successful moves into the area, effectively killing the treat storm conditions for the season.

End at the heated conversation and tag with Ambiguous/Open Ending.

If the "everything is fine ending" is a little snappy or something you're really proud of having written, repurpose it as the summary but reference that the happy ending is a hard one or is far off. "X's lips are the sweetest thing Y has known. Y can't believe they're lucky enough to kiss them every day. (Y doesn't know any of this yet, of course, but they'll get there. Eventually.)"

End at the heated conversation and tag with Ambiguous/Open Ending.

Please don't do this unless the recip is into ambiguous endings.

I for one would love a "heated conversation, then everything is fine" ending, but would find an overtly ambiguous ending for my pairing somewhat spitefic-y.
