You people are fucking ridiculous. You want everyone to literally post the full emails, thus outing themselves completely (thanks to Morbane anonfailing we know she reads both Coal and FFA). But I'm sure that wouldn't be enough for the Blind Defense Squad; at that point you'd claim the email was Photoshopped and demand that the recips gave out their email addresses and passwords so that you could log in for your so-called receipts.

I'm not defending her blindly, coalie. Nor am I looking for receipts to that degree, though the case of the miscarriage DNW is probably specific enough that she would already know who that refers to. This is just not my personal experience of her as somebody who has received a fic including a DNW and the difference in reaction surprises me. I seem to have stepped into a minefield by asking this, however, so I'll leave it at that.

I don't need it. I've chosen to take that person at their word. It's not like this is out of character and unbelievable. If it was one instance of this kind of thing, I'd be more skeptical.

Except it's out of character from my interactions with her as a mod, which is why I'm interested! I'm just wondering if it was literally 'Morbane said the miscarriage DNW wasn't violated because it was just a discussion about miscarriage and not a miscarriage happening' (my experience is she errs on the recip's side in those cases, so I'm surprised by this), or if there's a possibility she misunderstood, or she replied awkwardly and that was misunderstood, or if there's more to the situation like the DNWs not being in the sign-up. I don't understand why we're assuming bad faith, which is why I wonder what was said.

Because MULTIPLE people have brought stories like this to the light, both last year and this year. You obviously got lucky, which is great for you, but it's ridiculous to sit there claiming everyone is lying and "assuming" things.

Plenty of people have been able to give enough details for people to judge for themselves, even while trying to preserve their anonymity, so I don't know what you're talking about. I'd hardly call it "whining" either, but the fact that you refer to it as such is what's "pretty telling" here. And no, most complaints about mods don't happen in namespace; you're wrong about that, too. It doesn't matter if it's Morbane and hhertzof, VampirePaladin, Pumpkinkingmod, or whoever, the vast majority of it is anonymous no matter what you try to claim.

It's how BBCode does formatting. Forums generally run on that, rather than HTML.

The fact that you think people in namespace ought to be aware of and respond to anon meme accusations helps cement your status as troll, because that's completely absurd.

This is my problem with hateboner coalie. It's not that they hate Morbane; if they think she's a bad mod/have had bad experiences with her modding/believe every instance of complaints about her - fine, okay. Valid, whatever, every coalie is entitled to their feelings.

But the way they express their hateboner is so ridiculous they have zero credibility. Expecting a mod to, what, make a public admin post responding to anonmeme vagueing? Please, then there'd be freaking out at a mod outing someone's private correspondence, which of course they're never going to do because that would be moronic.

And this thing were hateboner coalie accuses anyone who disagrees or wants more details before judging or challenges their hateboner at all of being a Morbane stan, when most people around here seem fairly neutral on Morbane and yuletide mod policies/practices in general. But if you aren't crying for Morbane's (and Morbane specifically, not any of the other mods') head, then you're a brainwashed CON sheep.

And the current wank they're trying to make happen about Morbane commenting on that fic - seriously? That was fucking ridiculous. This is why you just seem like an idiot troll, hateboner coalie. If you kept your chill even a little and stuck to the main issue where a lot of people actually agree with you (that yuletide mod policies regarding dnws are shaky and sometimes fail in a big way) then you'd get a lot more traction. But instead you're just super tedious and annoying.

This is actually the first time I've said much about the whole thing. I should have said dc to distinguish. But if you're looking for someone trolling the issue constantly, it sure ain't me.

I just think it's ridiculous that anybody who thinks morbane has done a crap job with DNWs must be a troll or a hater. Morbane has anonfailed here and FFA plenty of times and surely knows when she's mentioned, so I don't think it's that absurd to think she might speak up in defense of herself on such a sensitive topic.

Hell, people who are in the chat with morbane constantly anonfail here regularly. Let's please not pretend it must be a topic she's completely ignorant of. THAT's absurd on its face.

She can do whatever she want, but I would absolutely defend myself if the story had been told as a complete misrepresentation. Wouldn't you?
