...okay, now I'm just mad that Ghost Soup Infidel Ivory, which does not exist, got its own canonical tag. Which is subtagged to another canonical, as part of a tag tree that includes eight more canonicals, even though none of these series are real.

All while multiple fandoms tags that actually have canon material are being synned to related-but-definitely-not-synonymous tags (e.g. 11ft8 Bridge, Heatwaves: An Erotic Space Odyssey), or having the canon ignored altogether and getting synned to Original Work (#BadStockPhotosOfMyJob, The Course of Honor, Humans Are Space Orcs)!

I looked at the comments on the wrangling end and...kill me. Removed the random wranglers name but I’m leaving the mods.

Dear X, someone has posted a fic about the manga which we all know was unauthorized and is therefore uncanonical. It's not even manga, having been written in Hebrew, not Japanese (all non-Latin scripts look the same to fans). Do with it as you will.

I've synned "Ghost Soup - Fandom" here, even though we all know the user meant Blue but is just lazy. Also "I Don't Believe In Ghost Soup" because seriously, the h8ers are just so ridiculous at this point I roll my eyes. (It's a *name*, people! It's not supposed to mean anything! Just because it doesn't appear in the series doesn't mean the show writers are terrible and were just writing with no plan!)

My dearest Ghost Soup wrangler, someone has actually tagged for Infidel Ivory even though all the episodes were lost in the BBC purges in the 60s. I am not absolutely convinced that they aren't remembering that one lost episode of Doctor Who or Adam Adamant Lives, but they may be correct and at any rate, there is a tag and it is known to have existed at some point, so you now have another subtag to hug and love and call "George".

.................It's sure great to see that they can gleefully spend their time on this absolute nonsense instead of, you know, actually working on properly wrangling the existing canons so that the writers who truly embody the 'spirit of Yuletide' don't get screwed over.

It took them five days to wrangle my fandom, and I can count the number of hits on my hands and still have fingers left over. I had zero respect for the mods before, and now I guess it's in the negative.

Mine was just done today. Poorly. Sigh.

Yeah, you're not the only one. The second Nirvana In Fire series is very different from the first (different characters, plot, and so on even though it exists in the same universe) and really should have its own tag. But nooooo, fuck those real rare canons and let's spend all effort on absolute shit like this!

hhertzof and everybody else involved with these decisions really have no business even being tag wranglers in the first place. And the self-congratulatory bullshit about how fast they were really irks me. It's been over a fucking week, you think that's "really fast" for something like this?
