A & C for me. My gifts were all great (my socks less so but eh) and my recips adored theirs. Usually it’s a C year for me so getting gifts I loved as much as my recips liker theirs has been amazing.

Definitely C. I wish I could switch it from my sock to my main, but, well, I was a bad, bad coalie.

B & C.

A, C (but also D because I got one especially lovely recip comment!) and E. <3

None of the above for me. This was my last YT.

E, but barely.

I've been doing Yuletide for 15 years now, and that was my worst one. If I didn't have such a good Yuletide in 2018, I'd probably stop now because this year everything that could have gone wrong did go wrong, in awful ways. D:

It's tough when your assignment is something SO specific you know few people will even click on it, let alone read it.

A and D!
New fic for my tiny tiny fandom and someone who has RL experience for my fic topic leaving a comment saying I got it right.

I have to say none of the above.

One gift that was pretty nice but not mind-blowing. Noncommenting recip on the one thing I wrote. A couple brief comments from other people, at least. It all kind of balanced out into “that was okay I guess.”

C - I didn’t get that much feedback, quantitatively, on either story I wrote, but one of my stories has had a comment from every person who kudosed, and they all loved it. So I feel like I won Yuletide!

All of the above.

A - All of my gifts were excellent stories in their own right and were perfectly tailored to my likes and prompts.

Bonus happiness: A totally new-to-me author who wrote me a fantastic treat is both prolific and in a bunch of my tiny fandoms. I'm so excited to check out their other stuff!

C! I wrote for a fandom I thought would be extremely rare (and to be fair, it's had under 40 hits). But lots of happy people have commented on the fic, including several very long comments. Thank you, thank you!

C and D. My inbox overflows, and all of my recips liked their treats. 10/10, would treat-only Yuletide again.

C+D; all my feedback was wonderful, but I was especially glad that a fic I was nervous about, and in a fandom other people did a lot more cool stuff in, still managed to stick the landing in its own right.

A, minus the assigned/non-treat gift.

B, C, D, E! I can't really say A because I only got the one gift - but it was pitch-perfect and exactly what I wanted, and I loved it. :D A surprising number of people commented on treats I figured only the recips would care about, which was awesome, and my assigned recip left amazing comments on the gifts I wrote them. AND THEN ALSO there were some wonderful works in some of my tiny fandoms, including one that was so exactly my jam in every respect that I couldn't have loved it more if it actually had been written for me. \:D/!

C & D. I got a lot (for yuletide!) of comments and my assignment recip came back today after reveals to tell me again that they loved the story. I can't even deal with how happy that made me.

A and D. I got two excellent gifts this year, and my recip also left me a great comment. But other than that I didn't get much feedback. And while there were a few other fics in the collection I enjoyed, there were none I loved more than my gifts.

C and D. Especially D - I'm so glad I wrote that final treat for what turned out to be a really sweet commenter.

Sadly A B and E don't apply so much.

B, D and E!

Gift in the tiny fandom I wanted most (though I'd never admit it), my recipient was wonderful, and found an amazing fic I love.

C! People loved my fic. I received a crap fic.
