I don't think I mentioned a number but I did say that I reread fics every few months.

But yes, I'm in the 'it's okay to reject gift when you hate them' camp. Not to say I do this all the time, it happened maybe three times in today over my entire time on AO3. Most of my gifts are outside of exchanges and things I specifically prompted for from specific authors on LJ/DW/Tumblr, so there's less room for "this is terrible I don't want to see it".
