I saw one that jumped from 2,000 to 5,000 over the course of the day. The 2,000 version was fine. The 5,000 version just fleshed out some scenes and dialogue. The story's plot didn't change, it just seemed fuller compared to the bare bones 2,000 version fic.

There's another fic I noticed that went from low 8,000 to mid-9,000 between reveals and this evening. Again, nothing that was noticeably different except maybe an extra scene and more dialogue that didn't really add anything.

I wasn't the recip for either btw.
