+1. I read pretty widely on any canon that I can remember/that sounds interesting, and some of the ones are hit-and-miss, some are uniformly great, and some of them are like walking into a flaming garbage fire. So I could see people with bad enough selection of fandoms mostly coming across bad or meh works.
