As someone who is in an analogous situation as the author of the main gift, I am really happy that Probably-Not-You wrote the treat!

Sure, it probably merits a lower Technical Score than my fic, but it fills what I felt were some glaring deficits in my fancy overwritten one. I feel much better about my own fic now, not because it looks better by comparison but because I felt our recip had been short-changed a little by my fic, and now I don't.
