NC Haha I saw that and went ABSOLUTELY NOT, I'm not clicking that. (esp because I've read some of the novel, and there's nothing that says repressed sexuality more than stalking your reincarnated crush across the ages.) But all that matters is that the recip liked it, in this case, so that's good to hear.

NC Sometimes it feels like I come out of every Yuletide with a new list of DNWs. Last year it was a bunch of infidelity/open relationships/poly/love triangle DNWs. I guess this year's gonna be identity head-canons and unrequested pairings.

In cases where recips like unrequested things, I assume the author is a friend who knows they secretly like X or how to write X in a way they enjoy.

I find it amusing that Bonibaru apparently hates the very existence of CNTW darkfic, but OTT ace issuefic is cool cool cool.

The two aren't very similar, I can see how someone could like one and not the other, that doesn't seem unreasonable.

Where are you getting the darkfic hatred from, has it come up elsewhere?
