Dangit this year is a wank *desert*, that one had real potential. I want some good outrage, the type that will make us blacklist authors and write extra fics for the recips next year!

TBF, if it had been any other fandom than Jeeves & Wooster, it probably would have been prime wank material. That fandom is just really big on Rule of Funny, and the author nonnie really wasn't being defensive when they were like "this could totally happen in canon!!1!" (Well, they were being defensive, but they also weren't wrong.)
