I'd rather you not know if it was! If it was you then it means you spent time writing something you're not interested in for me anyway, and the effort itself is nice even if the end product isn't the great. Genuinely would rather be thankful for the effort than disappointed for the result. Plus it's such a big Yuletide, it probably wasn't you and your recip probably loves yours!
