I'm going to tell myself just to be grateful that at least it wasn't picked up by one person in the fandom who really hates one of the characters I requested. That happened once before, and while I could tell they made a good-faith effort at hiding it I could still tell how they felt (though that time I was an idling pinch hit, they didn't just grab it in spite of hating them).
