Dear author: I worried your story would disappoint because it's the minimum word count, but it was delightful in the tone of the canon and made me smile. I couldn't ask for more than that.

Dear Treat recip: I know it seemed like an afterthought prompt you threw out, and now I'm thinking it probably was, but it was a brilliant idea that intrigued me so much I had to write it. I'm glad you enjoyed it, though your comment was so short (which made me think you really didn't care about that prompt). Probably me, and not you. But the person not my recip who left a long squeeful comment more than made up for any disappointment I might have felt.
