I couldn't get this treat done in time for the main collection. Does Madness get enough eyes to make it worth it to try and finish it in time for that, or should I take my time and post it outside the exchange whenever it's perfect?

My feedback experience from Madness is the same as the main collection, so I'd say go for it.

I always get comments and kudos on the fic I post in Madness. Perhaps slightly less, but the ratio is through the roof. Go for it!

I've posted longfic to yuletide and gotten nothing.

People do kudos eventually, but they don't expect to find the meaty stuff there, so it usually slips through the cracks.
