Coalie in Post-DeadlineLand

Coalie was beginning to get very tired of waiting for their gift to be posted, and of having nothing to shake: once or twice they had peeped into the tags of the fic their dentist had been gifted, but it had no characters or freeforms on it, "and what is the use of a fic," thought Coalie, "without ships or tags?"

Advice for a Treat

It's over 1000 words and for the fandom and ship they requested and the recip already has a fic (their real gift, I hope).

BUT the characters/ship they requested have very little personality in canon. I get that they ship them because of their history and their dynamic, but I am really worried over my interpretations.

How should I warn for or disclaim this? Should I put it in Madness so they don't judge it as harshly?

Assuming they haven't given you any guidelines in the letter, it's most likely they want to see your take on the characters' personalities. I imagine it's like the Anthropomorphic. What sort of personality does Bordeaux have? Or Chardonnay?

IMO if it's 1000+ words and tailored to their prompt, it should go in the main collection.

I don't think you need to warn for anything, coalie! I'm sure they want to see your take on the characters, and to me it sounds like it should go in the main collection.
