Coalie was beginning to get very tired of waiting for their gift to be posted, and of having nothing to shake: once or twice they had peeped into the tags of the fic their dentist had been gifted, but it had no characters or freeforms on it, "and what is the use of a fic," thought Coalie, "without ships or tags?"

I wrote a treat for a friend once and they had SIX treats. They left a nice comment, but I felt sort of weird about it.

My treat seems to have been upgraded to the main (or the recip defaulted). Out of paranoia, I switched fandoms and gifted them a completely different fic. Here's to hoping they're pleased rather than disappointed.

So you wrote them two treats in two different fandoms? Or did you change the story you gave them to a different fandom?

The latter. I couldn't get a fitting ending on the certain treat so I scrapped it and wrote for a fandom I'm more confident about (and which is actually finished) instead.

I have a story in progress for someone who has multiple treats already and I thought about spreading the love around for a second. But she wrote me a story several years ago that was written to order perfect Yuleporn with bad/hurty/good feels in the exact tone of the canon that I will always cherish. She deserves all the treats.
