Coalie in Post-DeadlineLand

Coalie was beginning to get very tired of waiting for their gift to be posted, and of having nothing to shake: once or twice they had peeped into the tags of the fic their dentist had been gifted, but it had no characters or freeforms on it, "and what is the use of a fic," thought Coalie, "without ships or tags?"

This could easily fit one of my requests, in which case I genuinely adore the secondary canon for this particular crossover and just didn't talk about it in detail much because it's not a canon I would have matched on (and considering how close to my heart it is, I would have inevitably rambled on quite a lot if I'd gone there). And mentions of potential crossover shipping were meant to give my author more potential routes to play if they felt so inclined, not make the request feel more restrictive. I was trying to make my author feel less stressed, not more!

Even if it's not for me, I still vote A. I'm sure your recip will be thrilled to get the crossover of their heart and even more so when it's clearly been written by someone who cares about the secondary canon. Please, please don't do C or D - it would make me so sad to think that my author threw out a story that they'd worked hard on and that I'd probably absolutely love because my letter made them feel like they weren't writing the crossover the Right Way.
