Coalie was beginning to get very tired of waiting for their gift to be posted, and of having nothing to shake: once or twice they had peeped into the tags of the fic their dentist had been gifted, but it had no characters or freeforms on it, "and what is the use of a fic," thought Coalie, "without ships or tags?"

Some do, some don't. I put the *one* DNW I'd actually go to mods about in my sign up, and about five more in my letter. (I'm not a cover all bases person, I basically trust my fellow writers.) If any of those five wound up in my fic I'd "thanks for writing for me" my writer, but ultimately shrug. If the *one* did, then yeah, I'd go to the mods.
