Coalie was beginning to get very tired of waiting for their gift to be posted, and of having nothing to shake: once or twice they had peeped into the tags of the fic their dentist had been gifted, but it had no characters or freeforms on it, "and what is the use of a fic," thought Coalie, "without ships or tags?"

They'll start sending them out in the first two hours after the deadline. Unlikely to be within the first hour. They'll send multiple batches, so they could be sending pinch hits for a few hours. Someone on ffa commented on the 2017/18 timings, where in 2017 they were sending multiple batches spaced out for the following 12 hours and in 2018, for the following 6 hours.
