Coalie was beginning to get very tired of waiting for their gift to be posted, and of having nothing to shake: once or twice they had peeped into the tags of the fic their dentist had been gifted, but it had no characters or freeforms on it, "and what is the use of a fic," thought Coalie, "without ships or tags?"

Yeah, I didn't think to look or remember that. My brain was in a funny knot for a minute, though, imagination running wild. Worth the confusion.

"Come on, Luke. Your friends wouldn't want you to spend your life mired in guilt! Now let's get your mind off things. You should come with me to my animal-anus painting class at the community center, and then we'll have dinner at my brother-in-law's restaurant. I hope he doesn't make a pass at me! Later, we can spend the evening trying to find the hidden spots where Mr. Business coughs up hairballs. It'll be a hoot!"
