I agree! It becomes very obvious when something has just as many if not more viable f/f ships and the fandom revolves 90% around the dudes, so I recognize that the media itself is not always the reason. My point was exactly that, that it's everywhere and a lot of things do boil down to it, sorry if it didn't come across well.
