Yep, I'm always hoping to find some longer fic in there, but there are few enough fics in fandoms I know anyway that I always end up checking out everything and then being surprised Pikachu that I clicked a short fic and then didn't enjoy it because I don't enjoy short fic. (Plus, to a certain extent, the requests tend to be geared away from stuff I like in the first place, because - rightly and understandably - people are not going to be asking for, like, slow burn plotty first-time enemies to lovers in an exchange with a 300-word minimum.)
